On-campus Classes @ N. 4th
Students are welcome on campus and can just drop in during our scheduled hours: Monday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 pm; Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (On Tuesdays, the campus has an all-staff SAT meeting and will not open its doors until 10 a.m.)
Teachers on duty will be assigned to attending drop ins, but students with appointments are prioritized; others are served on a first come, first serve basis.
Students can come in and work, get tested, or receive guidance or support at any time. We strongly encourage student to attend our regularly scheduled classes, as well, listed below. Regular attendance and completion of work done during this time will lead to guided credits earned.
Art projects integrated with history, science and math.
10:45 a.m.: Yoga with Denise A.
1 p.m. Gardening with Denise A.
Engage in fun hands-on science lessons. We cover different science topics by doing different experiments. We learn through doing. Some of the experiments are candy bar density, strawberry DNA, Color Changing Milk, making ice cream, helicopter lab, reaction time, food chemistry and many more. You can earn science credit for coming and participating in the labs.
Earn Algebra credit as we have a breakfast treat. You can earn an Algebra credit by completing 6 units. Get help or use the time to work through the Algebra units. Help is always available.

Writing workshop using prompts from narrative/storytelling, descriptive, persuasive, expository, literary analysis, prose and poetry.
