Twice each year, in December and again in June, GBCS holds graduation ceremonies at the Metropolitan Detention Center and at a location in Albuquerque for those graduating from the Downtown Campus. At MDC, Jennifer Pate and staff prepare a breakfast for the graduates to share with a special family member. This is the only time family members are allowed face to face visits with their inmate/students which of course adds to the joy of graduation.
