An educator for 11 years, Kimberlee Hanson is dedicated to the idea that no matter how dynamic a class is, unless a student personally connects with the content, learning is uninspired. Dissatisfied with the traditional methods of classroom delivery, Kimberlee strives to develop curriculum that is interdisciplinary, relevant, and culturally balanced. She believes it is the educator’s job to facilitate a meaningful learning experience by providing purposeful resources, developing skills for literacy and most importantly, demanding critical thinking. Kimberlee received her BA in English from the University of New Mexico, a BA in Education from the College of Santa Fe, and a Masters in Curriculum Development from New Mexico Highlands University. Inspired daily by the students and staff at Gordon Bernell, Ms. Hanson is thrilled to be part of something that is so powerful.
