Although I was born in Washington, DC, my family moved to Albuquerque when I was 9- years-old. I earned my BS and MA from New Mexico State University and Ph.D from The University of Texas-Austin. I am happiest in my garden, walking my 2 Jack Russel Terriers along the bosque and traveling this beautiful world with my husband.
